May 1, 2004 - Phoenix AG, Inc., based in Monroe, Ohio, and Desktop Engineering Int'l Inc., (DEI) headquartered in Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey, announce an alliance to bring systems, engineering, and software to the manufacturing and service industries to help their customers achieve breakthrough results.

Phoenix, a consulting firm specializing in throughput improvement via systems, training, & engineering solutions, and DEI, a provider of computer aided engineering consulting and software solutions, have successfully collaborated in the past. DEI developed AQP-Parts, the premier software tool in the automotive market for sheet metal formability data collection, analysis, reporting, and management, with input from the stamping industry, but with specialized engineering contributions from Phoenix.
